DIAMOND CERTIFICATES

DIAMOND CERTIFICATES

A diamond certificate, also known as a diamond grading report, is a document prepared by an expert gemologist that describes all most important details of a diamond. A diamond grading report is treated as some kind of personal ID by all professional diamond brokers, dealers and jewelers. The diamond without certificate will never be such reliable and expensive as diamond with grading report. However, not every certificate is really accurate relative to other diamond grading reports.

For example loose diamond with GIA certificate always will be much more reliable and more expensive than loose diamond with EGL certificate. A certificate from a gemological laboratory verifies the quality of a loose diamond (4C) and allows customers to make informed decisions about their purchase.

We offer loose diamonds from all most reputable gemological laboratories as GIA, IGI or HRD and other U.S. gemological labs AGS and EGL USA. We do not sell loose diamonds or mounted diamonds without diamond grading report. If you are looking for some diamond(s), please contact us. We'll help you make the best decision before making any purchase, because We always care about your satisfaction.

Founded in 1931, the Gemological Institute of America, or GIA, is an independent, non-profit organization considered by many to be the world's foremost authority in gemology. Introduced in 1953, their diamond and gemstone grading system is recognized worldwide. Manufacturers from around the world send diamonds and gems to GIA for examination and analysis.

When a diamond is accompanied by a GIA certificate, the consumer is assured that the stone has been analyzed by an unbiased gemologist who upholds the highest standards of integrity, science, and professionalism.

EGL-USA, also known as European Gemological Laboratory, has locations in New York City, as well as Los Angeles. The various EGL locations are separately run, with EGL Los Angeles and EGL New York having the good reputation. We only sell these domestically-graded EGL stones. EGL diamond certificates provide a retail appraisal, which is helpful for consumers who want to insure their diamonds. EGL also provides a nuanced SI-3 clarity grade which falls between that of the SI-2 and I-1 clarity.

EGL diamond prices are generally lower than GIA or AGS graded diamonds and therefore garner considerable interest with consumers, as these diamonds represent excellent value.
